How to import mail files from Office X to Office 2004?

I just installed Office 2004 on my Mac and opened Entourage 2004. It gave
access to my addresses but not to my previous e-mail messages. How do I
transfer these.

Help tells how to import from every other program except a previous edition
of Entourage.

It should have happened by itself. What happens if you switch
identities? If your old identity is not there, what happens when you
choose File > Import? m.
