Hi,
I just installed CW 9 and have found that if I create a Mac OS X
PowerPlantX Stationery project (the Basic one), build it and debug,
the IDE permanently hangs with the spinning rainbow blob of death, and
I have to force quit. I've tried example projects like CocoaBalls and
TextEditor with the same result. The programs can be run normally when
not debugging. The message at the bottom of the project window is
"Loading debugging data for target "Mach-O"". I've let it sit for a
very long time on the chance that loading the debugging data is very
slow, but that's not it...
I'm running 10.3.2. I also have CW 8.3 installed, if that makes any
difference.
Thanks,
Michael

You probably don't have the XCode Developers tools installed so there is
no GDB to load. Install or reinstall XCode Developers Tools and if that
doesn't fix it let me know.

Nope, I have that too.

Michael, did you solve your problem now ? That's because I'm getting the
same sort of spinning rainbow blob of death in similar conditions. I
just posted a thread called 'Installation errors of CodeWarrior 8.3 on
Panther'.
