Interesting question. It's a bit more unusual with this go around, since technically CW 9 is about a $400 product (or whatever it was), whereas CW 10 is only $99. In prior releases, the retail price tended to remain constant, so there was no real discount in getting the older version. I am curious as to why you would need 9.3 when you have 10. Their plugins are written in c++ and compiled with cw 9.3, so if the compiler changed from CW9 to CW10 the plugins compiled with CW10 might show bugs. Hi Did you get the Codewarrior version 9? My recommendation is to use 9.4 when using a 9.x version of CodeWarrior. Version 9.5 and later involved a lot of restructuring of the internal code base since it is when they ripped out all the Intel-related guts. Some thoughts. |
