Hi, two questions:

Maybe this is totally clear to others, but I just want to be sure before
I order: I need the PEF (Classic) target if I intend to compile a
_Carbon_ program that  will run on OS 9? Right? (I.e., I don't intend to
compile non carbon APIs...) Sorry to be dense...

Second, when it asks for the Registration Number, is that the 10 digit
number found on the bar code on the back of my CW8 CD-ROM cover? Or is
the there another number that I need? (I remember that I used to have a
number that started with a 'U' and had 5 or 6 digits after it - but
maybe this was pre-8.)

Best
Mark

Their are basically 3 plugins,  x86, Mach-O and PEF

The PEF will work as carbon on OS X or will do either Carbon or
Interface.lib  on OS 9.       So yes you need the Classic in order to
target  Both the 9.0  Carbon and Interface Lib  stuff.

No that is a product code.

>the there another number that I need?

Your original product registration/serial number.  If you don't have it
tucked away somewhere,  it we can find it for you.   The one that came
with your original purchase.
