Hello,

I am using a public library that has printf's in it and it keeps
popping up the SIOUX window. IS there a way for me to make sure this
window does not pop up when a printf is fired.

You might want to try adding console.stubs.c or console_OS_X.c to the
top of your link order.  The easy way to find them is to type Cmd-D and
then enter in the file name.

Why would this stop the window from popping up ? I am looking this up
in the help, but the help file keeps locking up.

The help file does not work very fast, making it less than helpful.  It
is passable using Netscape, impossible with the other Web Browsers,
they work but may take several (ten or more) minutes to open.  So much
for standard complying browsers.   I haven't tried the latest Safari.

What do you want to accomplish?  Do you want output to be written to the
window while keeping the window in the background?  Do you want that
output to be ignored and never show up visually?
