Here is a strange intermittant behavior that has just started to get
in my face these past 3 weeks:
The breakpoint indicator (the lil' red dot in the left margin of the
source code window) seems to get stuck during a debug session. IE, I
cannot seem to interactively set, or clear it.
It is just a ui issue (most of the time), cuz I find that I can
sometimes drop the source code window and re-open it, and the "forced
refresh" of the window results in the breakpoint indicator being
appropriately displayed. Also, sometimes I will visible see the
rainbow for an instant just like I used to - but the indicator just
doesnt get added (or cleared).
I'm at a loss to figure out what changed... my application has a
minimal ui, and does not field apple events at all.
Restarting CodeWarrior will also fix the problem for "awhile".
Deleting the project data file seems to have no effect. Different
projects also exhibit the problem, so it not just one project. I've
seen it on BOTH CFM and MachO projects...
I've yet to reinstall CodeWarrior only cuz I have not made the time...
Ideas anyone? Anyone else seen this? (I found nothing in my searchs)

First go to the Global preferences and in the debugger cache setting for
the Debugger purge it, this may be the problem.
You may also want to get rid of any sym files you may have.
Next make sure that you don't have optimizations on. If you select the
dot in the source windows but it is not a breakpoint in the running code
you can't unclick it in the debugger and it is pale red.
Second thought is you somehow have another source file that is opening
up instead of the one in your project We had that with CW 7 and CW 8 but
I think this has been fixed. Still if you move a source out of the
directory and replace it with another one while the project is open it
may do follow one source in the project manager and another in the
debugger.
Hope this helps,
Ron
