CodeWarrior Debugging Problem

What does it mean when I try to debug my C++ code, but CodeWarrior says that it
cannot connect to the remote debugger through 127.0.0.1:6989?  I've seen this
problem before trying to debug my Java code, so I gave up trying to debug Java
code.

For some reason the problem at hand happens when I am running Mac OS X and
CodeWarrior IDE 4.1.  But in Mac OS 9 and CodeWarrior IDE 4.1, debugging works.

I am pretty unfamiliar with setting up my Mac for networking, so it would help
if whoever responds provide exact application names, control labels, etc. in
their response.

I am grateful for any help.

This generally means you don't have TCP/IP running, however I think it
is always running on OS X so that wouldn't be it.

Well CodeWarrior 6 youu cannot do Java on OSX without the thrill seeker
tools
These tools are on the
CodeWarrior Reference CD
Thrill Seekers
     MacOS X Java Plugins  folder
Be sure to read the JavaMacOSX.txt file for more information.

Also CW 6 was designed for much older versions of Mac OS X and it may
just be that you are running  something newer than OS X 10.0.4 and it
isn't compatible.

You shouldn't have to do that the services are already installed and
running.
