The release notes for PPx say that the DataBrowser is now supported,
which is great. But the PPxViewConverter doesn't seem to know anything
about it.

The modification date on PPxViewConverter is August 2003. Should the
update installer have installed a new version?
If not, is there a new version available?
Failing that, does anyone know how to add a databrowser to the XML file
created by PPxViewConverter?

Yours in frustration,
Brian

Sorry for the delay in replying,  I forgot to pass this on to
engineering.

Well, the PPx pobj XML import/export mechanism will not be the
recommended way to create PPx windows in Pro 10.  We will have a new
nib-based mechanism that lets you create the window directly from a nib
file in your application's bundle.  The PPxViewConverter utility won't
be needed anymore.

Currently, the pobj description of the data browser does not keep up
with the relevant settings that you can set in Interface Builder.  The
new nib-based mechanism will fix that problem.

If you'd like to test drive the new PPx, you  can sign up for the MPTP
program.

The new nib-based PPx works fairly well right now.

Hope this helps and again my apology.
