Applications are invited for the position of a technical lead in
algorithm and code optimization on embedded processors at KLA-Tencor's
wafer inspection division. This position will be located in Chennai,
India. It is an exciting opportunity to contribute in the development
of real time, accurate, cutting edge inspection technology and make
a significant impact in a multi-billion-dollar industry.  

Responsibilities
-----------------

Technial responsibility includes optimization of image processing algorithms
design and implementation in C/assembly, timing analysis, code
optimization mapped to processor architecture. Areas of interest
include processor architecture and compilers.

Qualifications
--------------

Position requires a Bachelor's or Master's in EE/CS or equivalent
with 4+ years of industrial experience. Must have demonstrated
substantial accomplishments in algorithm and code optimization for
different processor architectures. Must have design/development and C/C++
proficiency. Knowledge of tools and compilers for code optimization a
plus. Image processing background and Matlab are additional plusses.

The candidate needs to have strong leadership, interpersonal skills,
be able to  work independently on problems,  be an effective team
player and be willing to accept challenge and responsibility.
