MacOSX/Carbon Netscape/Safari PlugIn Not Recognized

Hello,

I have written a Carbonized Netscape PlugIn which works fine under Internet
Explorer 5.2.2 and MacOS 10.2.6. However when I try it with Netscape 7.1 or
Safari the plugin fails to be called. Although it is listed in the PlugIns
section of the Help Menu.

I have just made an ordinary file (not a package) and dropped in the Internet
PlugIns folder in the Library folder.

Anyone have any idea why IE work and the others don't? I went into the
preferences "Helper Apps" section and forced it to point to the PlugIn.

Any ideas? Seems funny it works in IE but not the others.

Thanks in advance

Does it hit any breakpoints/DebugStrs along the way?

I have the same exact problem.  It's a big problem, and I've filed bugs with
Apple on this.
