Hi!
I've dug out from my memory box Wallstreet, G3@500, 256Mb Ram, HDD40Gb,
two batteries (one Apple, one third part), mint condition except for a
bad scratch near the trackpoint, but it's only an estetical issue.
I've then bought from an online store the Presto! G4 Card@500Mhz. The
sender sent me a new heat shield, an item to help me to remove the old
card and some heat shield paste. But the G3 on the original card has a
little black heat shield on it, the G4 not. The silver heat shield
supplied with the card has a small piece of metal soldered in front of
the CPU card, that ensure direct contact with the CPU itself.
Now I'm unsure if i must pry the small black heat shield on the G3 to
transplant it on the G4, or install the G4, put the paste and install
the silver heat shield.
There's anyone who had before a Presto! card? Yeah, i know that i should
buy an iBook, it's on my shedule, but I'm also very affectionate to that
old WS...

That would be a Pismo, not a Wallstreet, no? Wallstreets topped out at
266mhz, IIRC. And your question about installation should be directed to
the vendor that sold you the card.
