I'm using a Dual Processed G5 with 1GBmemory and OSX.4 (Tiger). When I
originally setup the printers, I got a test page. I used windows printing.
Now when I go into any application and try to print the G5 appears to print
fine but nothing comes out of the printer. I've downloaded the latest
drivers from HP/Xante/Konica and still nothing works. The printers are
HP8500n, Xante3G, and Konica/Minolta Imagesetter 6200 (as a RIP). I've
tried (with help) to use CUPS and successfully got a test page from the
Xante but still cannot get an application to print.
Any Ideas?
Thanks
Tom

IIRC, the standard suggestion for printing problems is to trash printing
prefs in ~/Library/Preferences. Check your firewall settings to make
sure you're not blocking Printer Sharing. How are the printers
connected? To a Windows box? Have you tried connecting directly to the
Mac?

The printers are network printers. I print directly to the IP address of the printer.

So, all the printers show up in Printer Setup Utility, but you can't
print to them?
